ARtist statement

I adapt so much of my creative process by working with several different materials elements, encompassing several mediums to express how I interpret the world around me.

I work with steel, aluminum, silver or gold, forging the metal, shaping and constructing an object by heating, pushing the materials, creating texture, which make it malleable for me to transform it into works of art.

Working in oil, pigment sticks, and encaustic allows me to manipulate the medium over extended periods of time. Oil allows me to take a simple observation and brings about life in colors and textures, luring me deeper into the creative process.

Photography inspires my creative process by allowing to help push my boundaries in my other mediums.
